Engaging with African citizens living in the Diaspora should be promoted to the level of national development strategy, The benefits are diverse and immense from impacting knowledge gained over the years to helping in shaping a new ideology for sustainable development in Africa. On the 15th June, 2019, African Trade Center will be hosting a Side Event Summit at the United Nations. New York on the margins of the High Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development.
The carefully selected speakers and nominees for the African Achievement Awards are distinguished and accomplished Nigerians who have and are still making remarkable impacts and contributions to sustainable development,
This Nigerians whose initiatives and ideas we believe will help in shaping the future of Nigeria includes Chief Joyce Adewumi, Founder/President of the New York Africa Chorus Ensemble, Dr. Daniel Gbujie, the Award wining Founder and President of Team54 Project International and inventor of Reclime (an App for combating climate change, the distinguished High Chief Dr. Livinus Obilo, Founder/President of Nigeria Healthcare Foundation in New Jersey, USA and Engr. Obed Monago, Continental Chairman BOT, NIDO America. This great event will be graced by Diplomats, the President of the Borough of Manhattan, H.E.
