African Trade Center initiated and successfully organized the first Africa Trade Fair of Indigenous Products and Services in conjunction with the New Partnership for Africa’s Development NEPAD and the African Union.

The Trade Fair is designed to facilitate the actualization of African Union local content development agenda and promoting intra-African trade integration and cooperation, among others.

The maiden edition with the theme: Discover Africa. The Trade Fair was declared open by the then former Vice President of Nigeria, Arch Mohammed Namadi Sambo (GCON) and it attracted participation and exhibitors from many African Countries, States in Nigeria and Private Enterprises.
